All classes will be held at the Tuba Community Center from 9-llam. Dress for creativity! Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes that can get messy with mud and dyes.

Join us for a super fun, kid-friendly workshop all about amazing animals that glow in the dark right here in Arizona! Did you know that some desert creatures can shine under special lights? It’s true!

In this hands-on workshop, kids will:

• Discover glowing scorpions that light up under UV light

• Learn about cool desert animals like geckos and gophers

• Find out how and why some animals glow 

• Use safe blacklights to see how glowing works

• Make a fun glow-themed craft to take home

We’ll explore how animals in the Arizona desert survive the heat, hide from predators, and sometimes even glow to communicate. Don’t worry—no scary stuff, just awesome science and lots of glowing moments.

Perfect for curious kids who love animals, science, and a little bit of glow-in-the-dark magic!
